Three Sound Ideas for the New Year
1. Playing Big: in The Marin Pacific Sun + North Bay Bohemian this week…
Need some inspiration to start your new year? Check out my New Year’s Resolution hit list in the Pac Sun + the Boho this week. 33 Resolution Per Minute — give it a spin.
2. Write Now: For More Inspo, Join one of my January Writing Workshops
Speaking of resolutions, you have to write that novel or poetry book in 2025! To help, in January, I’m offering two writing workshops at Mystic, a cozy and serendipitous art shop in downtown Mill Valley, CA.
Join me there and get going on those writing projects you have been wanting to do — now is always the perfect time to begin. In the two-hour class, you’ll learn seven ways into your new or existing idea, begin and discuss your inspired work, and you’ll even meet other writers!

3. Hobby Hour: Don’t Make it Work
As interdisciplinary artist, I tend to make all my hobbies into work. This year, I am going to have straight hobbies and I suggest you do the same. One of them is reading novels and taking notes on them for fun — like I used to do in the 90s. (inspired by Jillian Hess — no relation — at Noted) Another might be dancing — we’ll see.
