Always Have a Place to Begin your Writing.
Join my workshop for seven ways into an enthusiastic beginning every time.
Where Do We Begin?
People often ask me, where do you write? What is your writing routine? And I have no answer. I’ve never really had a room of my own for writing. And I actually like it that way just fine.
Sometimes, I can technically make a space. But with two teenagers at home, and a deadline, the reality is, I write anywhere, anytime. The dining table, the café, in the car waiting for pickup. Morning, noon, and night, weekends, weekdays, and on vacations.
But make no mistake, I do keep a balance. If I’ve been writing during the day, I won’t write that night. And if I have other plans for the day, I’ll go ahead and write at night. I don’t write all the time, just any time. And so can you.
The hard part is often deciding where to begin with what to write. And so I created a workshop, Ready, Set, Write! based on my own need for ideas on how to start.
Ready, Set, Write!
Monday, January 27, from 5:30pm-7:30pm
Mystic Art Shop, 31 Sunnyside, Mill Valley, CA.
Begin with Place
A simple way to begin is through Place. In the workshop, I introduce seven ways into your story, essay, poem (or…) through Place, because even if you don’t have a room of your own, you can still use Place to begin. Join me on Monday!
